Who We Are

Here at Friends of Goochland Parks, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all.  FOGP is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to enrich the recreational and leisure opportunities for Goochland County citizens and visitors through its park system and to protect preserve and showcase the parks’ natural and historic features.

MEANINGFUL WORK. UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES.

What We Do

Friends of Goochland Parks emerged from a group originally organized as a Task Force of the Goochland Chamber of Commerce.  The group was inspired by the unique opportunity to help residents and visitors rediscover and reconnect to the natural and scenic beauty of the James River, and have served as champions of Tucker Park since its inception.
